Purchase, N.Y. (July 8, 2019) – Roughly 115 golfers including 29 professionals joined the Fund at Brae Burn Country Club for the 38th Annual WGACSF Pro-Am. Last year’s event was hosted, not too far, at Century Country Club.
Loyal participants represented clubs from Westchester and Ulster Counties, Connecticut, Long Island, Albany, Chicago, Texas, and California. The Pro-Am is the largest fundraising event on the CSF’s calendar; proceeds from which directly fund the need-based college scholarships awarded annually to an average of 280 local young men and women.
The Frank Duane designed 18-hole, Par 72 golf course showcased its recent renovations, as did the Clubhouse with is accommodating and redesigned rooms. Prizes generously sponsored by Titleist were awarded to the teams from both morning and afternoon shotgun play with Low Gross, Low New, and Low Pro.

PM (afternoon) winners included the following:

Team Low Gross: Fairview, 63 (Kevin Ausserlechner, Romano Bootha, Ken Goodman, David Hirsch)
Team Low Net: Misc., 57 (Frank Mattei, Grant Burnett, Joe Germano, Peter Malkin)
Update: The Fund is pleased to announce that the site of the 39th Annual Pro-Am will be Sleepy Hollow Country Club; the event to be played in July 2020. The Fund will celebrate its 40th Pro Am at The Stanwich Club in July of 2021.
