WGACSF Golf Marathon Slated For August 23rd At Waccabuc Country Club

The 2021 WGACSF Golf Marathon will be held at Waccabuc Country Club on August 23rd. One of the fundraising staples on the CSF, the Golf Marathon is a unique event that allows golfers to play as much as they want, while raising money for a great cause.

On August 23, 2021, local caddie managers, caddie scholars, CSF alumni, golf professionals, and members of area clubs will take the formidable challenge to play as many holes of golf as possible in one day. From sun up to sun down, at Waccabuc Country Club in Waccabuc, New York our marathon participants will look to raise money and awareness for the Westchester Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Fund.

Last season, the Golf Marathon was held at Shorehaven Golf Club. 2020 was a record-setting year for the CSF Golf Marathon. In total, 2,261 holes were played during the 12th annual CSF Golf Marathon, with an estimated $110,000 being raised by the end of the day. Shorehaven’s Caddie Manager, Joe Pica, led the charge raising over $62,000 worth of donations. He played 72 holes and broke his own fundraising record by more than $15,000.

To support the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund, you can pledge any amount towards the golfer of your choice. Donations can be made in the form of a flat amount, or you can pledge your support for each hole of golf they play. For example, if you pledge $1 per hole and your golfer completes 100 holes, that’s $100 towards the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund.
