Morgan Squires–a senior at Southern Connecticut State and a CSF Scholarship recipient—spoke at the reception following the golf and shared what it means to her to be a caddie scholar and how it has impacted her during college.
“I want to give a big thank you to everyone for participating and helping make my going to college a possibility. Not only has this caddie scholarship helped me get through my academic career at Southern Connecticut State, but I have also been able to travel the world through the semester at sea. This allowed me to see India, Dubai, Greece, and Morocco. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.”
Mike Miller (pro), Bill Nardiello, David Nardiello, and Mark Dupont won the gross competition at 7-under. The winners of the net competition were John Deigan (pro), James Martell, Dan Martell, and Chris Mcglinn at 9-under par.
Steve Sonet from Bonnie Briar won the Long Drive competition. Bill Shaner won the closest to the pin on the par-3 fourth, and Dupont won closest to the pin on the par-3 seventh.
