Vera Latest William S. Perper Memorial Scholarship Recipient

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 4, 2024) – Gabby Vera, who worked in service to golf at Westchester Country Club, is the latest William S. Perper Memorial Scholarship recipient.

Vera is a freshman at American University in Washington, D.C., this fall. She intends to pursue a degree in business and is also an MGACSF Caddie Scholar.

William Perper was a long-time member of Westchester Country Club and a constant supporter of the CSF. The fund was established in 2012, through a bequest from Mr. Perper’s estate. Awards are made to caddies from Westchester Country Club.

Endowed and named scholarship funds provide additional opportunities for aid. These special scholarships are awarded according to guidelines established by the donor. Some are for specific fields of study, or for caddies from specific clubs, and some are awarded above and beyond the general MGACSF scholarship.
