The Mission

Need-based aid for caddies who carry the bag and the standard.

We award scholarships to qualified caddies — based on personal responsibility, scholastic record, family financial need, and demonstrated commitment to caddying at MGA member clubs.

Founded by the Metropolitan Golf Association in 1956, the Foundation has never turned away an eligible candidate. Awards are renewable for four years and average more than $9,000 per year, applied directly to tuition at the recipient's chosen accredited university.
